Связь финансовой грамотности с наличием и размером сбережений российских домохозяйств

Аннотация
В России более половины населения не имеет сбережений, что снижает финансовую устойчивость домохозяйств, особенно в условиях экономических шоков. Способно ли повышение финансовой грамотности помочь в решении этой проблемы? На данных четырех волн Всероссийского обследования домохозяйств по потребительским финансам с применением панельной регрессии с фиксированными эффектами выявлено, что финансовая грамотность связана как с наличием, так и с размером сбережений домохозяйств. Однако связь неоднородна по социально-демографическим группам и формам сбережений. Так, наблюдается положительная связь для домохозяйств, возглавляемых мужчинами, проживающими в городах или имеющими высокий доход. Финансовая грамотность положительно связана с наличием и размером сбережений на банковских вкладах, но не связана с наличием и размером средств в фондовых инструментах, а также в наличной форме. Робастность результатов подтверждена с учетом различных модификаций моделей и выборок.
