

World Metallurgical Complex Development and the Stock Market

Abstract
The evolution of the world metallurgical complex in historical perspective is considered in the article. The factors of its slowing down and rising during different historical periods are pointed out. The role of the stock market as an instrument helping to attract funds in the industry even on the first stages of its development is analyzed. The author tracks the main trends of world metallurgy development, paying special attention to Russian metallurgical companies.
