Миф о «культурном коде» в экономических исследованиях

Аннотация

Статья посвящена критическому анализу современного подхода к включению фактора культуры в экономические исследования. Национальная культура в этих исследованиях рассматривается как реифицированная сущность, измеряемая социетальными ценностями, и часто трактуется в различных контекстах как «культурный код». В статье обсуждаются работы, в которых такое понимание опровергается, и предлагается альтернативная методология экономического анализа культурных феноменов: каждая массовая культурная практика должна изучаться отдельно, и всякий раз следует проводить анализ выгод и издержек всех вовлеченных в конкретные процессы лиц.
