Работа или второй ребенок: о чем говорят данные РМЭЗ-ВШЭ?

Аннотация

В статье показано, как наличие работы и ее характеристики влияют на желание женщины родить второго (или третьего) ребенка, оценена вероятность рождения детей второй и последующей очередности. В качестве эмпирической базы использованы количественные данные индивидуальных опросников обследования домохозяйств «Российский мониторинг экономики и здоровья населения» (РМЭЗ ВШЭ). Наличие работы у женщины, большое количество рабочих часов и высокая оплата труда сопряжены с отсутствием детей в семье или наличием только одного ребенка. Однако размер заработной платы обоих супругов оказывает положительное влияние на репродуктивные намерения женщины.
