После Второй мировой войны большинство из них было национализировано. Однако небольшая группа центральных банков продолжает оставаться в частной собственности. Хотя их финансовая деятельность мало отличается от других центральных банков, частная собственность накладывает существенный отпечаток на корпоративное управление.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>All the first central banks were established in the form of private joint-stock companies. After World War II the majority of them were nationalized. However the small group of central banks continues to remain in private property.
