Статья посвящена анализу ключевых вызовов, которые в настоящее время стоят перед глобальной экономикой, а также проявлению этих проблем в России. Речь идет об усилении этатизма и популизма, о нарастании социальной и политической поляризации, повышении роли национальной повестки по отношению к глобальной при торможении (но не сворачивании) глобализации, об усилении внимания к вопросам национальной безопасности, что непосредственно влияет на экономическую политику, а также о социально-экономических и политических последствиях распространения цифровых технологий, включая их влияние на рынок труда. Рассматриваются перспективы, характер и источники вероятного в будущем экономического кризиса, а также возможности отдельных мер антикризисной политики, включая вопросы «современной денежной теории» (modern monetary theory). На этой основе обсуждаются вопросы экономической политики современной России.

The paper deals with the key challenges of global economy and their application to current Russian development. The main topics are the following: emerging etatism and populism, social and economic polarization, increasing role of national agendas versus the global one, domination of national security issues over economic policy, and the social and political consequences of technological shift towards digitalization. Prospects, character, and sources of future economic crisis are also under consideration. Global trends form the basis for the analysis of Russian economic policy.
